  • April 1994. Management acquires the Addressograph Imprinter Division from DataCard Corporation and forms NewBold Corporation.
  • July 1995. Stonewood Capital Management invests in NewBold and provides long-term financing.
  • June 1996. NewBold introduces lean manufacturing.
  • March 1997. NewBold makes major investment to increase plastic card manufacturing capacity.
  • August 1998. NewBold develops strategic plan to expand its presence in the healthcare and retail markets.
  • March 1999. NewBold acquires the assets of CompuRegister Corporation, a manufacturer of PC-based point of sale systems.
  • January 2000. NewBold acquires the assets of Norcom Corporation, a distributor of embossing systems for hospital blue cards and military dog tags. NewBold becomes the only single source provider of hospital blue card systems.
  • May 2001. NewBold establishes a joint venture with Bartizan Corporation to form Addressograph Bartizan, consolidating its credit card imprinter business in Kitchener, Ontario.
  • July 2001. NewBold introduces its first e-forms solution for positive patient identification and barcoding applications.
  • June 2002. NewBold makes further investment to increase plastic card manufacturing capacity.
  • January 2004. NewBold establishes a professional services organization to provide technology implementation and system integration services for retailers.
  • June 2004. NewBold releases its next generation e-forms solution for healthcare.
  • October 2004. NewBold launches the Addressograph family of embossers manufactured in the US.
  • April 2005. NewBold introduces the Addressograph thermal printer for positive patient identification.
