Is the Addressograph®320 on GSA Contract?
Yes, GSA Contract # GS-25F0082M. Effective October 1, 2001 to September 30, 2006.
Where is the Addressograph®320 built?
The Addressograph®320 is the only dog tag/medical alert tag embosser built in the US.
Can the Addressograph®320 emboss both the US Regulation Steel dog tag, as well as the larger US Regulation size Red Aluminum medical alert tag?
Yes. The Addressograph®320 is the only machine built worldwide that can feed and emboss both sizes of tags without the use of tools to adjust when changing from one to the other. In fact, a competitor's machine built overseas cannot feed or emboss the oversize medical alert tags.
How big is your machine? Supporting Soldier Readiness Preparation exercises requires hardware to be compact and portable.
The Addressograph®320 is about the same size as a standard electric typewriter. It weighs 46 lbs (20.9 kg), well under the military standard "One Person Lift".
Who have you sold the Addressograph®320 to?
Our military customer base represents all branches of the US Military, both Active and Reserve. Addressograph®320 embossers are installed in the US and worldwide. Addressograph Military has machines installed in the battle zones of both Iraq and Afghanistan. We have even built machines for the US Army in Afghanistan with the Dari Afghan Character set for dog tag production for the Afghan Army.
Can the Addressograph®320 withstand the rigors of field use?
Yes. All of our National Guard/Air National Guard customers transport the machines throughout their respective states to support SRP and Deployment Activity. The optional Rapid Deployment Case has wheels and a telescoping handle for ease of transport. Many states will ship the machine to the unit that needs tags and have them ship it on to the next unit.
Is the machine available for 220V?
Yes, 220V, 50HZ is an available option.
What is the speed of embossing?
135 dog tags/medical alert tags per hour, based on the average tag having 45 characters.
How loud is the Addressograph®320?
The Addressograph®320 is much quieter than a standard desktop printer.
Do you have software?
Yes. The Addressograph®320 can be operated either off-line via the PC-style keyboard and 2 line X 40 character LCD display or on-line with our EmbosserWorks Windows-based software. Our software allows you to simply download a typical Alpha Roster in Excel or Access, just as you download to a standard printer, via an RS 232 printer cable connected to your existing computer.
How quickly can you ship upon receipt of an order?
Standard shipment is within 7-10 days of an order. In the event the order is to support Deployment/SRP activity, we can make special considerations and usually ship in 2-3 days.
What kind of technical support/service agreements do you offer?
Addressograph Military is committed to providing the highest quality service through our 12-month Technical Support and Advance Replacement Program. Our Technical Support and Advance Replacement Program is unique in the industry. If an issue arises, simply contact Technical Support. If the issue can not be resolved with the Technical Support call, we will ship a replacement machine, either that day or the next, via the preferred method of shipment. Once the replacement machine arrives, simply place the old machine in the return box, ship it back to the address specified and keep the replacement machine. It's an extremely turnkey system designed to ensure quick resolution. No fuss and you never have to wait for days with a down machine for parts or service. The only cost is the cost of shipment of the machines and the annual fee. Compared with service support for any other dog tag embosser, our cost is less than ¼ of most annual maintenance programs and you get a replacement machine whenever it is needed. This program is available for all end users whether in the US or deployed overseas.
