- 16 colors including white. White, red, blue, green, cranberry, yellow, orange, black, light blue, tan, pink, gray, silver, gold, yellow-gold and copper. If the color you are looking for is not listed, please contact Sales for a quote.
- How can I tell what thickness card I use?
- If you are currently using cards, the box that the cards come in should have the card size and thickness on the end of it. Thicknesses are either .030, .024 or .020. If it is not printed on the box, one way to gauge the thickness is to take a credit card and the card you are using and lay them flat side-by-side. If the card is the same thickness then it is a .030 thick card, but if it is thinner than the credit card is most likely a .024 thick card. The most common thickness card used in Healthcare is the .024 thick card.
- How can I tell what size card I use?
- Compare it with a credit card from your wallet or purse. If it is the same size as the credit card, then you use a CR 80 card. If your card is shorter and longer, than you have a CR 50. These are the two most common sizes. If the size doesn't fit either of these, then contact Sales for more assistance.
- What is the difference between a super stress and utility stress card?
- Super stress is manufactured with a stress film laminate between core stock. The stress overlay is on top of the core which makes the embossing characters highly visible to the human eye. Super stress cards are currently manufactured in all colors and finishes. Utility stress cards are purchased with a stressing compound already processed in calendared sheets. Utility stock only comes in polish/matte finish and is only available in blue, green, red, and cranberry colors.
- What type of card do I need if I want to print?

- What type of card do I need if I want to print and emboss?

- What type of card do I need if I want to emboss only?
- For embossing purposes only, the best type is our utility stress card. These cards are economically priced and are readily available for shipping.
